Lacquer and Silver Decorative Platter (Thailand)

This radiant black and silver lacquerware platter is handcrafted of the highest quality materials by Worldstock artisans in the village of Ban Twai in the Golden Triangle region of northern Thailand. Lacquerware is created by carving mango wood and applying the black resin of the 'Lak' tree as coating material to give it a fine finish and luster
